Bridget Scarr: Fine-tuning the Content Development Requirements of Various Industries

Bridget Scarr, the Executive Producer at Colibri Studios, is known for developing and managing high-quality contents for various digital platforms, advertising industries, and media outlets. She has more than a decade of experience in producing world-class contents for a number of media, advertising, animation, and digital firms by collaborating with them. She is known as a writer with generating compelling and appealing contents that can be broadcasted across the platforms. Scarr is known for producing contents for latest technology innovations such augmented reality and virtual reality. Interestingly, she led many teams that are working on various topics including entertainment, lifestyle, drama, factual entertainment programming, and animation for children.


Scarr started her career with Urban Brew Studios, a television content producing firm in South Africa, as its Production Manager. During the period, she took the responsibility of a number of shows, commercials, and conducted shoots in various African countries. Later, Scarr started working as the Line Producer and Production Manager to Ogilvy & Mather, an advertising firm based in New York. She took care of the management, production, and coordination of various campaigns, TV commercials, and more. Scarr also worked as a TV producer with the firm for a brief period and covered brand activation dealings for a number of brands, including Nestle, Motorola, Miller, and more.


Then, she collaborated with Primary Films as a TV producer and took part in every process of the TV programming production including content creation to the final delivery. Scarr also worked with Bite Animation and took the responsibility of high-end animated motion productions for various clients. In 2010, she co-founded Zero Point Studios, an animation company in South Africa, and started leading the firm as the Head of Production and Financial Producer. In the role, Scarr took the overall responsibility of contents including 2D and 3D animations.


Scarr also worked as the Managing Director and Partner of Pollen Creative Media, a firm working on digital, advertising, and broadcasting solutions. In March 2016, she founded Colibri Studios, a home of creative ideation, development, and execution. Using the Studios, Scarr combines all the major channels of content creation under one roof. As a content developer with tremendous experience, she thinks that the virtual reality is playing a bigger role in various sectors including education, healthcare, and more. Scarr is focused on keeping a creative mind that she thinks important for content development. She completed her graduation in Drama and English from Rhodes University.
